Abstract

Macrocyclic complexes of the type [M (C₁₄H₃₀N₂O₂) (ClO₄)₂], where, M = Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) ions were synthesized by the condensation reactions. The complexes were characterized with the aid of elemental analysis, conductance, magnetic susceptibility measurements and spectroscopic methods. The complexes were tested for their vitro antibacterial activity. The minimum inhibitory concentration shown by these complexes were compared with standard drugs.
