Abstract

T Grounding of electronic equipment at industrial and power facilities is usually perceived as a prerequisite to ensure equipment survival under electromagnetic interference. Is it really true? Do common approaches to electric equipment grounding really solve the problems of electromagnetic compatibility? The fact is that the answer to this question is dubious and the current methods of grounding are controversial in their essence. I suggest a different approach to electronic equipment grounding that will allow avoiding the existing controversies.
