Many Marxist scholars have already recognized the qualitative change in capitalism, known as Globalization. However, the links between the economic base of this stage of capitalism to its cultural and social superstructure is not well studied. This paper demonstrates the synthetic relationship between the economic base of contemporary global capitalism and new social and cultural movements under an umbrella alliance known as the Rainbow Revolution (i.e. supporters of LGBTQ and racial minorities, feminists, etc.). Instead of analysing social and cultural movements in isolation from each-other, or these in isolation from economics and trade, this paper observes all of these in mutual interaction.
