The New Political Economy analyses the political events mainly from a neoclassical and welfare economic point of view and therefore remains in a static perspective based on equilibrium situations. In this paper the author tries to emphasize the procedural character of political events by referring to elements of the
theory of evolution.
For this purpose, the individualist method for explaining social phenomena will be illustrated and supplemented by evolutionary elements. The application of this expanded socio-theoretical method allows a theoretical understanding of the political process and therefore can be used as an analytical reference for the
political events within a democracy.
