The aim of this paper is to investigate the impact of Jigsaw cooperative learning method on students' learning performance in Economics. Data of 127 students enrolled from two classes are collected in spring semester in 2014. Empirical findings support that Jigsaw cooperative learning method benefits students' academic achievement and knowledge retention in terms of the increase in mean scores and the decrease in standard deviation of scores
