Ca0.6Zn0.4Cu3Ti4O12 ceramics has been prepared by the standard solid state reaction technique. The internal structure, surface morphology and dielectric properties of polycrystalline Ca0.6Zn0.4Cu3Ti4O12 have been studied by X-ray diffraction, Optical microscopy and Impedance Analyzer, respectively. The X-ray diffraction analysis for the sample calcined at 85°C confirmed that the sample is single-phase and is formed cubic perovskite structure. Lattice parameters are calculated using the Nelson-Riley function. The sample has been sintered at various sintering temperatures, Ts (1000, 1050 and 110 °C) for six hours in air. The optical micrographs of the sample with different sintering temperatures exhibit a homogeneous microstructure and the average grain sizes increase with Ts which is determined by the linear intercept method. The dielectric properties of these materials have been measured in the frequency range 100Hz-15MHz. It is observed that the dielectric constant increases with Ts, on the other hand loss tangent decreases with Ts.
