ARC Journals considers APC fee reductions for authors from low-income and lower-middle-income countries on a case-by-case basis. Authors experiencing financial hardship are welcome to contact the editorial office to discuss partial support options.

Fee reduction requests are assessed independently of peer review and do not influence acceptance decisions. Full waivers are not available.

Is there a submission fee?
No. Submitting your manuscript to any ARC journal is completely free. You are only invoiced if and when your paper has been accepted following peer review.
How are APC categories determined?
APC levels are determined based on subject area and editorial processing requirements. Journals in life and medical sciences involve more extensive review processes, which is reflected in the higher APC tier.
What payment methods are accepted?
Authors may pay via PayPal, credit/debit card, or international bank transfer. PayPal accepts all major cards. Bank transfer details are provided on your invoice.
Can I get a waiver on the APC?
Authors from low-income countries or those facing financial hardship may be eligible for a partial APC fee reduction, assessed on a case-by-case basis. Full waivers are not offered. Please contact the editorial office to discuss your situation. These requests do not affect the peer review process.
Does paying the APC guarantee publication?
No. The APC is charged only after acceptance — meaning your paper has already passed peer review before any payment is requested. We never accept manuscripts in exchange for payment.
Will my article be freely available to everyone?
Yes. All ARC Journals articles are published under CC BY 4.0, making them permanently and freely available worldwide with no access barriers.
