Abstract

This paper presents a simulation of a space-vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) inverter feeding a three-phase induction motor. The SVPWM inverter enables to feed the motor with a higher voltage with low harmonic distortions than the conventional sinusoidal PWM inverter. The voltage/frequency control method is used for open loop speed control of induction motor.
